I’ve finally hung my Ashley Woodson Bailey print in a temporary frame from Ikea. (I’ll get it professionally framed at some point.)

Still need the Carrara Marble top and these sconces from Black Rooster Decor which have been backordered again!

These sconces are going in the dining room as well.

I am also thinking for in here, 2 of these bubbly chandeliers from West Elm.

Droplet glass chandelier

They’ll look so light and airy over the table and won’t disrupt views out the window or patio door. The only downside is the cord and frame is chrome which I’ll have to switch to gold.

We have our outside table working as an island in the kitchen for now but I have my eye on this beauty from Crate & Barrel…

It’ll help tie in the dark countertops and the white marble top will work with the other Carrara marble details in the rest of the house. It’s not overbearing for the small kitchen and I like that it’s moveable.

And for over the island I am thinking either one of these.

glass disc chandelier

They both work with the bubble chandelier and the gold sconces, but don’t feel overly matchy. They also work with the gold and glass kitchen hardware.

For the pantry doors I am thinking something along these lines… still not sure about the colour but it’ll be either natural oak, black or white.

stove wall

For the stove wall I am thinking something along these lines…

christine dovey kitchen

Christine Dovey’s kitchen is a girl’s dream!

I’m not sure if I want to do white shelves or glass shelves but I like the boxed in range hood, but will use the Ikea high gloss panels that go with our kitchen which will reflect the opposite window, making the space feel even larger.
Shelves lighten the overall look and there’s more opportunity for design, you can switch up the colours of the glassware you display with the seasons, etc. but doesn’t feel nearly as traditional as a collection behind a closed glass door.

living room now

In the living room I want a large light (and a rug, some lounge chairs, etc. but that’s for another post) that will fill the void space above the tv. I love love love this one from West Elm…

All the chandeliers will have ceiling medallions as well to add some detail and texture to the ceiling,

Still so much to do…*sigh*
